Reporting to the Vice president and the Director of Operations, you’ll oversee field teams, ensure projects stay on time and on budget, and uphold our commitment to safety and quality. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in electrical construction.
  • Strong skills in team building, mentoring, and managing field crews.
  • Expertise in project planning, labor tracking, and budget management.
  • Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., apps, spreadsheets, BIM).
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.

  • Electrical trade knowledge and familiarity with commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team of foremen, electricians, and helpers, mentoring talent, fostering growth, and creating a positive work environment.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with codes, specs, and safety standards while tracking labor, materials, and budgets.
  • Work closely with Material Coordinators, Project Managers, and General Contractors to keep projects on track.
  • Plan work proactively with tools like three-week look-aheads, daily progress trackers, and labor forecasts.
  • Lead daily hurdle meetings, represent the field in GC meetings, and ensure documentation (RFIs, schedules) is up to date.
  • Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and team performance while promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
