Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent, Renewables, with 5 or more years of commercial electrical construction experience, specifically in the installation of commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires daily on-site presence to lead field operations and manage the crew. The Electrical Superintendent, Renewables, will oversee field operations with a focus on providing leadership and quality assurance for solar projects. They will act as a key interface with clients, ensure the efficient execution of projects, and provide technical direction to the field team. They will also collaborate with Regional Leadership and Project Executives to support project planning, execution, and commissioning. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: Supervisory Responsibilities Act as the lead for field operations teams, while collaborating with teams across the country who have renewable energy backgrounds. Provide mentorship and guidance to foremen and field teams to support their professional growth. Ensure field teams are equipped to troubleshoot and resolve QA/QC issues on the fly. Duties and Responsibilities Lead field operations for commercial solar projects, including overseeing the installation of electrical systems and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Provide technical direction and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) oversight in the field. Represent EIG’s field operations as the primary interface with clients, showcasing leadership and technical expertise to build client confidence. Support the pre-construction and project teams by reviewing trade partner proposals, schedules, and logistics. Assist in the planning and execution of system start-up, test and balance, and commissioning, with a focus on renewable energy systems. Oversee project-specific electrical quality and safety programs. Participate in review and approval of electrical shop drawings, submittals, and commissioning plans, ensuring all testing requirements, inspections, and documentation align with project specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and in-house crews to ensure schedules, work scopes, and resource needs align with project requirements. Contribute to the development of lean construction schedules and perform regular updates. Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project milestones and obtain required permits. Coordinate logistics and maintain strong relationships with neighboring occupants and stakeholders. Required Skills and Abilities We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player who demonstrates strong leadership and technical expertise in electrical construction and renewable energy systems. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members into future leaders. Proven ability to represent field operations effectively in client-facing situations. Ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities. Proficiency in the use of current virtual design and construction software preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, with a preference for candidates who have overseen 25-30MW of commercial solar PV installations. Experience providing QA/QC oversight and troubleshooting in dynamic environments. Strong grasp of commercial electrical construction concepts, renewable energy systems, and applicable codes. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to electrical and solar installations. OSHA 30 (or better). NABCEP certification. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Consistently on-site at assigned job locations, ensuring daily presence for project oversight and coordination.
