About The Position

As a manager at Blattner Company, you will oversee teams of self-performing crews and any subcontractors that may be assisting. Your responsibilities will include tracking and controlling the costs and schedule of the project at the field level, ensuring the overall safety of personnel within the scope of work, troubleshooting and resolving issues within the field in a timely manner, and providing regular coaching and feedback to Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons.

Requirements

  • Self-perform Substation/Collection/Transmission construction experience up to 345kV
  • Two or more years managing medium-voltage (MV) distribution systems on large-scale mission-critical projects, data centers, commercial, or industrial facilities
  • 5 years’ experience supervising self-perform construction crews
  • Progressive view on safety practices and program implementation
  • Ability to review the bid package for accuracy, completion, and electrical scope
  • Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical, and Drug Test
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations)

Nice To Haves

  • Management overseeing substation subcontractors
  • Experience coordinating with transmission operators and grid ISO’s
  • Proficiency in areas such as T-Line, inter-connect systems, switchgear installations, and HV collection/distribution systems
  • Electrical Licenses (Journeyman, Master, etc.)
  • Four-year degree in a construction or engineering related field
