About The Position

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced Superintendent, Low Voltage, with 8–12 years of field leadership experience delivering low voltage scopes within a commercial electrical contracting environment. This role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and execution of low voltage field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and quality standards. This individual will be responsible for field execution, workforce planning, productivity, quality control, and safety for assigned low voltage scopes. The Superintendent will lead installation of low voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber, security, fire alarm integration, AV, and BMS/controls within data center and mission-critical facilities, as well as other DPR core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial. Superintendents will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following: Supervisory Responsibilities • Direct supervision of field crews including foremen, technicians, and subcontractors. Duties and Responsibilities • Demonstrate understanding of and alignment with the vision and mission of EIG. • Maintain detailed, hands-on knowledge of project scope, drawings, specifications, and low voltage system requirements. • Plan and manage daily and weekly work activities in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Engineer. • Lead field installation of low voltage systems, including self-perform work, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. • Coordinate with other trades, general contractors, and client representatives to support efficient field operations. • Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and equipment needs; communicate constraints and solutions proactively. • Enforce safety policies, conduct jobsite safety meetings, and ensure compliance with all safety requirements. • Support quality control efforts including inspections, testing, commissioning support, and punch list resolution. • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on field progress, risks, and manpower needs. • Support project closeout activities including as-builts, turnover documentation, and final inspections. Required Skills and Abilities We are seeking a hands-on field leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage complex low voltage installations. The successful candidate will possess: • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct field crews effectively. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation standards. • Proven experience coordinating multiple low voltage systems and interfaces. • Ability to identify and resolve field issues related to constructability, sequencing, and logistics. • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. • Demonstrated understanding of low voltage building systems and integration, particularly within data center or mission-critical environments. • Basic proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools; ability to work with project management teams using digital platforms. • Strong work ethic with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred. • 8–12+ years of field experience within commercial electrical or low voltage construction. • Significant experience supervising installation of structured cabling, fiber, security, fire alarm, AV, and controls systems. • Experience working for an electrical contractor or low voltage integrator strongly preferred. Physical Requirements • Ability to work in active construction environments including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and lifting. • Ability to travel to and from the office and assigned job site(s) as required.
