About The Position

The Electrical Service Supervisor at SS&E is primarily responsible for the profitable execution of service work within the Electrical trade. The Electrical service trade is a key component of our company’s overall service portfolio and the profitable execution of work is critical to the success of the company. The Electrical Service Supervisor will be the primary leader of the Electrical Service Team, and will be responsible for the overall structure, management and performance of the field staff. The Electrical Service Supervisor will be expected to produce a certain level of revenue through the effective management of demand service and service projects as necessary to achieve stated objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Electrical trade experience preferred.
  • Local knowledge of Electrical code.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Professional in appearance and manners.

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with the organization of the company service department. Identify and get to know all the key personnel that you will interact with daily.
  • Learn about the culture, core values, and beliefs of our organization and use this knowledge to integrate profitable skills to compliment the rest of the team.
  • Supervise a team of Electrical Service & Project technicians.
  • Supervise and support demand service calls to a profitable conclusion with an emphasis on delivering superior customer experiences.
  • Supervise and manage quoted service projects to a profitable conclusion with an emphasis on delivering superior customer experiences.
  • Coordinate and assist all electrical needs across all service departments, to include assistance for other trade teams (HVAC/Commercial/Plumbing).
  • Assist the Service Sales Team to develop a proper scope of work when needed.
  • Perform Quality Control on the work being performed in the field.
  • Provide annual reviews/evaluations with constructive feedback for all field-level technicians.
  • Recruit and hire top talent to join the team and grow the department for dynamic performance.
  • Be a team player with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Must be customer-focused with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Be available after-hours for questions or assistance.
  • Provide technical support to fellow Team Members.
  • Other duties as assigned to promote and ensure success of the company.
