Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in transformers
  • Experience in R&D within a business environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of magnetic, dielectric, or thermal design preferred
  • Familiarity with FEM or 2D circuit simulation tools is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and a creative, solution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Contribute innovative electrical design ideas to R&D projects
  • Lead or support R&D initiatives, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality goals
  • Coordinate prototype manufacturing and testing activities
  • Define and execute Design of Experiments to validate solutions
  • Document project progress and derive design rules from results
  • Engage in intellectual property discussions and risk identification
  • Provide technical support to factories, marketing teams, and customers
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams to optimize electrical design
  • Contribute to product cost out improvements foreseen under R&D projects and dedicated to Jefferson City location.
  • Support development of design portfolio manufactured in Jeff City.
