Prysmian’s McKinney location is looking for an Electrical Projects Supervisor. Reporting into the Electrical Project Manager, the electrical projects supervisor will possess strong leadership skills to lead a crew of experienced electricians. The electrical projects manager will value safety above all else. In this role you will prioritize, schedule, and logistically support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Lastly, the electrical projects supervisor will collaborate with the existing team to facilitate electrical design, construction, and maintenance efforts.

Requirements

  • Electrical Journeymen or higher.
  • 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, specifically commercial and light industrial.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Electrical construction background
  • Knowledge of NEC code.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, specifically 29 CFR 1910.302 – 335.
  • Organizational and effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school graduate.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to construction and industrial settings.
  • Has experience reviewing specifications and developing mechanical or electrical layouts.
  • Good computing and software skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and schedule a crew of hourly electricians to support industrial projects within an operating fast-paced manufacturing facility.
  • Verify take-offs and define material lists.
  • Be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Collaborate and with other team members within the facility.
  • Report directly to the Electrical Projects Manager.
