About The Position

DSE Electric Inc. is seeking full-time Electrical Project Managers to oversee mid-size to large-scale electrical projects. The role focuses on driving profitability through effective project management, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maintaining project quality and safety standards. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage project deliverables from award through closeout while fostering relationships with clients and trade partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum (3) years' experience managing all aspects of commercial electrical projects
  • Must have project management experience concentrated in commercial tenant improvement
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems infrastructure (including low voltage systems), protection and distribution requirements, electrical codes and regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient in Bluebeam, Spectrum and McCormick Systems
  • A good attitude and the ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and oversee mid-size to large-scale electrical projects
  • Drive profitability through effective project management, execution, and optimization of project resources
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project inquiries while maintaining high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Review and manage all project documentation, including contracts, RFIs and submittals
  • Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts and change orders
  • Manage and review monthly job projections and adjust priorities based upon job requirements and resource availability
  • Develop, manage and maintain projects budgets and reports
  • Ensure project quality control and safety requirements are met
  • Attend jobsite meetings as required
  • Manage and negotiate issues, proactively communicating risks and conflicts with client and project management team
  • Manage customer relationships, project performance, and communication between field and office
  • Coordinate with project Superintendent and Foreman to manage workflow
  • Facilitate project meetings with internal staff and/or clients, including kick offs, planning, progress updates, and lessons learned
  • Ensure project completion within budget, required timelines, and in accordance with specifications and requirements
  • Maintain working relationship with clients and trade partners
  • Manage and provide direction for project management support staff
  • Manage project deliverables from project award through project closeout
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Promote new work opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients
