About The Position

IMC Electrical provides electrical installation services for private and public facilities, with experience in multifamily and commercial projects. Headquartered in Northeast Florida, we focus on delivering practical, cost-effective solutions while maintaining solid standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Role Overview: This position oversees and coordinates electrical construction and maintenance activities on multifamily projects throughout the Southeast United States. The role is responsible for supporting project delivery in alignment with established schedules, budgets, and quality and safety expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation or field leadership
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with multifamily electrical construction preferred
  • Electrical or Journeyman’s License preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with construction software such as PlanGrid, Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, or Spectrum is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and applicable permitting and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, risers, specifications, and coordination drawings
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams
  • Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address field challenges
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make informed, practical decisions
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with attention to quality and efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications to plan procedures, schedules, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Superintendents, owners, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve design and field challenges
  • Develop and implement strategies that remove obstacles, create efficiencies, and set field teams up for success
  • Coach crews, foremen, and apprentices to enhance performance, quality, and productivity
  • Lead and participate in pre‑construction planning meetings
  • Support senior management with project organization, scheduling, safety coordination, and alignment with company objectives
  • Manage change request logs, procurement activities, and cost controls to maintain budget and project goals
  • Maintain professional correspondence with clients and project teams; lead progress meetings and provide clear direction
  • Enforce company safety policies and quality control standards; conduct site inspections as needed
  • Oversee procurement of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Track job costs, prepare financial projections, and administer change orders, back charges, and back orders
  • Prepare and submit progress and percent‑completion reports for payment applications
  • Approve subcontractor and vendor requisitions, invoices, payroll, and labor reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Manage project closeout documentation and coordinate office‑to‑field communication throughout construction
