About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager with strong estimating experience for a direct hire opportunity in Raleigh, NC Overview of role: Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on project management expertise with the ability to develop accurate estimates, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Pay: $120-130K depending on experience or let us know what you desire Benefits : This position offers benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 50% of the cost is covered by the employer Schedule: Mon-Fri 7 am to 3;30 pm

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical project management.
  • Proven experience in electrical estimating, including labor, material, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid electrical license or journeyman/master certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial electrical projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for commercial electrical projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
  • Oversee material procurement, subcontractor management, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor financial performance, track job costs, and prepare progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
