Electrical Project Manager –Federal Projects

About The Position

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead multiple commercial and federal electrical construction projects from start to finish. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a solid understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR, DFARS, etc.) , and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience managing teams and leading electrical projects .
Proven success in commercial and federal construction environments .
Strong understanding of federal contracts, documentation, and compliance requirements .
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g.,Accubid, Heavy bid, Bluebeam).
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
O1 Electrical license preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of electrical projects.
Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project staff with strong, people-first leadership.
Ensure full compliance with federal contract terms , safety standards, and quality expectations.
Prepare and review submittals, RFPs, change orders, and project documentation.
Coordinate with clients, GCs, engineers, and government representatives.
Maintain cost control, forecast labor and materials, and track project profitability.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
