About The Position

The Electrical Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. This position emphasizes the importance of four Critical Success Factors: Safety First, Financial Success, Employee Satisfaction, and Customer Satisfaction. The Electrical Project Manager will be tasked with cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, and cost forecasting, including monthly projections to ensure that projects remain within budget and on schedule. In this role, the manager will engage in day-to-day interactions with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring that all job-related costs are meticulously tracked and managed. This includes the procurement of major materials and equipment, as well as overseeing the project submittal process, which involves submission, approvals, and the release of approvals. The Electrical Project Manager will also be responsible for monitoring all job-related costs, including labor, rental equipment, materials, and subcontractors, and will conduct monthly cost analyses to assess project financial health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of the electrical trade and relevant software tools, including ACCUBID, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word), and scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to perform additional assignments as requested, contributing to the overall success of the projects and the organization.
