We're looking for Electrical Project Engineers who areexcited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule, as well as provide assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans. You'll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. This is a hybrid position in Pittsburgh, PA however, qualified candidates in the U.S will also be considered. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience with engineering experience of building electrical systems
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
  • Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP
  • Experience with generator sizing and paralleling
  • Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Team leadership and client interaction experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • At least 3 years of Semiconductor, Data Center and/or Mission Critical facilities electrical design experience
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
  • Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
