About The Position
Electrical Power Generator - Field Service Tech Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, Electrical Power Generator - Field Service Tech position available at our San Antonio, Texas location. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday, must be on-call. Daily travel and occasional overnight travel are required throughout Texas. Job Summary : This position is responsible for providing troubleshooting and high-quality repair service on power generation, gas, and diesel engines, and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches), in order to respond to customers' needs in a positive, safe, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Electrical Power and Generator experience required.
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Gas and Diesel Engine experience required.
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) experience required.
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with customers and employees in a professional manner.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays and Sundays.
- Must be on-call.
