About The Position

The Electrical Planner/Scheduler at Arconic is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance tasks and projects within the Rolled Products North America facility in Lancaster, PA. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring that maintenance personnel and contractors perform their tasks to high standards. The position involves project leadership, oversight of contracted services, and the management of maintenance systems, all while adhering to OSHA and Arconic safety requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy industry with a focus on maintenance planning, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1-year Project Leader experience.
• Experience with Oracle eAM.
• Associates degree in relevant fields such as Welding, Electronics Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership, supervision, and technical information for maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Coordinate work requests and projects prioritizing safety and quality to meet OSHA and Arconic requirements.
• Establish job scopes and time frames for all work requests and projects, including generating necessary documentation.
• Communicate with EHS and contractors regarding safety requirements and conduct pre-task briefs as needed.
• Purchase and obtain materials not available in-house.
• Evaluate contractor capabilities and safety records.
• Generate and convert work requests into work orders for execution.
• Support and assist on projects as directed by management.
• Determine work priorities through discussions with maintenance, engineering, production, and contractors.
• Maintain compliance with Preventative Maintenance Plans.
