The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling electrical work: and supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians and other electrical workers.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Postsecondary education in electrical, supervision, or planning is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance planning/supervising with a strong understanding of electrical, PLCs, and drives.
  • Must have experience utilizing a CMMS.
  • Working knowledge of process and packaging equipment.
  • AB component/systems knowledge including PLCs, drives, sensors and Safety Systems required.
  • Interpersonal skills in motivation of peers and craft personnel.
  • Drive and initiative for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage as shift Supervisor on Maintenance Crew as needed when a vacancy exists.
  • Assist Supervisors as needed in leading craft personnel assigned to the shift, monitoring job performance and maintain necessary time keeping / attendance records.
  • Plan electrical tasks and ensure proper utilization of electrical crafts and equipment availability.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop, issue, schedule, review, and complete work orders.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance programs through the CMMS.
  • Plan yearly contracted service agreements.
  • Assist Electrical Supervisor with preparation of yearly departmental budgets.
  • Assist Supervisors in developing and maintaining training requirements and schedules.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with all employees.
  • Assist production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and improving low performing equipment, to achieve the best possible efficiencies, quality and performance.
  • Assist engineering and maintenance teams in managing and planning of outages/projects/expansions.
  • Generate innovative solutions/contingencies to ensure optimum equipment availability.
  • Become proficient with the Union Labor Agreement.
  • Establish, promote, and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
