We are seeking an individual who is passionate about joining a team in the manufacturing of high quality laminates and films used in a variety of applications including on cabinetry in kitchen and bath applications, countertops and paneling in recreational vehicles and in the enhancement of interior retail spaces. The Electrical Mechanical Technician will provide maintenance and new installation support to the production facility. The position is expected to apply their knowledge of wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronics operations to design, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 3 years of Electrical/Mechanical/ Maintenance experience
  • PLC Trained/ experience with PLCs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional licenses, Electrical Contractors License
  • Forklift and Aerial lift experience
  • Knowledge of Arc Flash (additional training will be provided on site)
  • College courses and/or associate degree
  • Project coordination experience
  • CAD
  • SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex problems and perform necessary repairs associated with electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to draw and read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC. Siemens, AB, etc.
  • Installation of electrical systems and electronics, including conduit installation, control panels, and motor drives
  • Assist electrical repairs 120-480V, motor replacement, fuse replacement, light fixtures, switches.
  • Review work orders and update system (Limble).
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedule and perform associated inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Work with power tools, measuring devices, and hot work equipment.
  • Respond to emergency events.
  • Comply with site safety, emergency, operational, security, quality and environmental procedures relating to all Maintenance engineering/project/commissioning on site.
  • Support OSHA and all other safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in training new employees on the team.
  • Interact with team members and production employees daily.
  • Clean work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
