These employees are entry level with little to no experience in the job they are working in. They are the least independent and need oversight, assistance and training from Level II and Level III employees. To transition into this level, employees must consistently demonstrate beginner proficiency of 75% of additional skills associated with this level, as well as all required skills. They must meet the quality and productivity standards set by the department for a minimum of 6 months. Additionally, an employee must be A Class Above in Behaviors, Results and Improvement on their most recent performance review. The employee cannot have a written warning or higher in the last 6 months. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of control panels. Assembler utilizes stock electrical and mechanical components to build custom panels per job instructions. Works with little or no supervision. Interaction with Technicians or the engineering department may be required, depending on the complexity of the design.
