About The Position

The Electrical Material Intern position will work in the electrical material warehouse. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with industrial machine electrical hardware and be comfortable working in various software platforms.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Self-motivated, with ability to work through problems, and a desire for continuous improvement
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Excellent math skills
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous electrical work in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Familiar with MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote
• Experience using the metric system is a plus
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Understanding of electrical drawings and schematics is a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue material in and out of the warehouse, including work within the SAP software
• Support distribution of material for GROB’s internal electrical departments
• Assist ongoing improvement projects within the teams
• Maintain electrical warehouse area and electrical material storage areas throughout the factory
• Miscellaneous tasks as needed by department including, but not limited to, supporting other team members during peak work times or absences
