About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join the Boeing Design-Build Team based out of Berkeley, MO. Within BT&E, the Electrical Manufacturing Engineer supports electrical fabrication planning, fabrication liaison/coordination, and test hardware assembly by providing design review, manufacturing plan authorship, fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Boeing), part procurement, and engineering support during fabrication. Electrical Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration, build plan, and process requirements. Electrical Manufacturing Engineering performs Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) analysis and develops an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to ensure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements. The primary focus of this position is support to the SuperFab fabrication facility, located in St. Louis, MO. SuperFab provides fabrication and assembly services of electrical instrumentation designs in support of both flight and lab test primarily for Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) programs. Typical SuperFab products include wire harnesses, instrumentation rack assemblies, and a wide array of instrumentation interface requirements in support of testing a broad array of products. At times, support to other teams across the organization may be required to meet the needs of Boeing programs. Boeing St. Louis is building the future ‒ creating innovative solutions that will define the next generation of aerospace. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on the new and existing military aircraft and weapons programs such as T-7, MQ-25, F-15, F-18, JDAM, SDB, and Phantom Works proprietary efforts. BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate level Electrical Manufacturing Engineers.
