Electrical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule B – Night Shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays) D – Night Shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + alternating Saturdays)
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
- Solid technical/mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years electrical maintenance experience.
- Work schedule flexibility includes 12 hour shifts and some weekends with possibility of an on-call status.
- Previous manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Installing, upgrading, modifying, and working on various types of electrical systems, including three-phase power distribution, 480V three-phase motors with variable frequency drive configurations, AC/DC drives/ motors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems
- Perform repair or replacement of faulty electrical elements of equipment, including motors, relays, and switches
- Identify when an external contractor/vendor is needed, and work in collaboration with the contractor/vendor to complete work
- Model, implement, and comply with electrical safety rules and related industry regulations
- Comply with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and other industry regulations.
