Provide various support to overall facility maintenance, including support for production lines, installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, repairing, moving, and maintaining a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems. Duties include the application of one or more craft skills to install, troubleshoot, repair & maintain a wide variety of production & related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems at a journeyman level. Working with operations and maintenance teams to plan, procure and document activities for the enhancement of electrical and instrumentation maintenance within the facility Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of complex equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems, motors, pumps, conveying systems, furnaces, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, extruders, chemical/liquid distribution systems, thermal oxidizer, PLCs, automated vehicles and production machinery. Install new electrical and equipment and move machinery and equipment to effect layout changes as required. Basic proficiency in aerial lifts, rigging, and hoists; to include hoist maintenance and inspection. Performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities of all types, including dismantling, re-assembly, and critical adjustment, lubrication, and calibration. Share knowledge with other technicians as it relates to maintaining and troubleshooting DCS, instrumentation, and controls Apply all applicable codes, regulations, reliability strategies, corporate and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards Understands, follows, and implements safety-related standards and practices.
