Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule B – Night Shift: 8:00pm - 8:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)

Requirements

  • A driven team-player who is eager to learn.
  • Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or other similar skilled trades is desired, along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
  • Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is desired.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years of plastic extrusion experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • The technician will be cleaning, calibrating, identifying & repairing various electrical problems.
  • Systems Including: Heaters, thermocouples, load cells, encoders, 3-phase motors, relays, sensors, etc.
  • Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Record work and parts usage using our maintenance software.
  • Identify issues with equipment that require engineering or contractor assistance to repair or upgrade.
  • Comply with electrical safety rules and related industry regulations.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines and blown film machines.
  • Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Install new or repaired parts to keep machines running at a high standard.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with production and senior leadership to solve problems.
