About The Position
The position involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and electronic equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety in all operations. The technician will diagnose and correct electrical/electronic failures, troubleshoot and repair A.C. and D.C. drives and PLCs, install new wiring, and maintain existing wiring. Additional responsibilities include performing board level circuit board repairs, designing control boards for timers and motor control, maintaining and repairing all extruder and downstream drive equipment, and training maintenance technicians in various operational areas. The technician will also maintain work logs, perform daily safety inspections, respond to on-call emergencies, and actively participate in plant safety programs.
