Requirements

  • 2-yr technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License strongly preferred.
  • Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Competent at electrical building wiring installed to NFPA 70.
  • Continued technical training required each year.
  • Ability to test and perform preventative maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC systems.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits and safety requirements.
  • Ability to operate volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-skilled mechanical and electrical support in a TPM and CI environment.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and develop maintenance skills.
  • Mentor apprentice electricians and enforce electrical safety programs.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve issues in advanced electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose PLC and HMI programs and understand switch functions.
  • Inspect and clean components in motor controllers.
  • Operate and maintain CNC machining equipment and manual tools.
  • Assist maintenance team members in troubleshooting and maintenance.
