About The Position
We are looking for a talented Electrician Apprentice – Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensure Equipment Availability: By performing electrical maintenance and machine support tasks, you'll keep equipment operational and minimize downtime. Promote Safety: You'll adhere to and promote Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Maintain High Quality Standards: Your attention to detail and adherence to quality procedures will help maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Support Preventive Maintenance: By providing feedback and performing preventive maintenance, you'll help prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery. Efficient Problem Solving: You'll identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes to enhance overall efficiency. Continuous Improvement: Your participation in continuous improvement activities will contribute to ongoing enhancements in quality, safety, and productivity. Effective Communication: By communicating effectively with your team and support teams, you'll ensure smooth operations and foster a collaborative work environment.
