The Electrical Maintenance Lead is a Monday through Friday position with call-in responsibilities on nights and weekends. This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Industrial Electrician with additional Maintenance and/or Project work experience. Analyzes, troubleshoots, implements, improves, and maintains electrical power circuits and equipment. Maintains and upgrades control and automation systems and instrumentation, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pump stations, water plant operations, and measurement facilities. When Electrical focus is not necessary, assists with other Maintenance and Operations support activities. Travel to other locations for Electrical Support may be required. Key Characteristics: ● Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including transformers, inverters, wiring, and control panels, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. ● Diagnose electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and machinery using appropriate testing equipment and techniques. Identify root causes of malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize production interruptions. ● Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as circuit breakers, switches, motors, and sensors, to restore equipment functionality. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades as needed. ● Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems. Conduct regular safety inspections, report potential hazards, and participate in safety training programs to promote a culture of safety awareness. ● Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment manuals. Document repairs, modifications, and upgrades to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. ● Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in electrical systems. Propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability, reduce energy consumption, and optimize workflow. ● Provide training and technical support to production operators and maintenance personnel on electrical systems and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices to build a skilled and competent workforce. ● Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, troubleshoot issues under pressure, and implement temporary fixes to restore operations safely. Coordinate with other teams as necessary to resolve complex problems. ● Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all tools and equipment as needed. ● Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties. ● Stay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required training. ● Interface and communicate with customers and suppliers as required. ● Complies with company safety and quality policies and code of conduct. ● Willingness to travel to other locations for electrical support.
