Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar Electrical Discipline
• 3 + years maintenance or plant engineering experience strongly preferred
• Industrial background, electrical troubleshooting and reliability experience preferred
• Instrumentation, controls and Power distribution experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Safety leadership and understanding of safety regulations
• Support of daily electrical maintenance activities and problem solving
• Maintain plant technical data, drawings, and documentation
• Review and maintain equipment spare parts inventory and stocking strategies
• Provide recommendations and identify best practices to optimize the predictive/preventive maintenance program
• Identify, support, and execute plant improvement projects
• Perform root cause failure analysis for unplanned equipment failures and generate action items to prevent reoccurrence
• Originate, perform, and support Management of Change (MOC) requests
• Provide electrical engineering support for capital project implementations and modifications to facilities
• Maintain and advise on process control systems, PLC’s, IT systems, and instrumentation
• Provide on-demand electrical engineering support to the business units
• Make equipment recommendations to improve machine performance based on failure data, bad actor reviews, operator/maintainer feedback, and OEM guidance
• Maintaining plant equipment specifications, including specifications database, drawing updates, and maintenance manuals
• Standardize and optimize spare parts inventory, stock management and coordination of the ordering of spares in conjunction with the Maintenance Planners and warehouse personnel
• Support the capital engineering group in project reviews, and Venture Manager projects as needed for installations and major equipment overhauls
• Perform failure analysis and data collection of equipment failures
• Provide engineering support for plant improvement projects
• Interface with outside vendors to improve process and equipment reliability
• Provide monthly KPI and key project updates
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) field reviews and generate recommendations
• Attend or conduct training as needed
• Support ISO 9000 efforts
• Cover weekend duty and off-shift responsibilities as requested
