Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in an accredited electrical line worker program or a related field.
• Valid Commercial Class A Driver's License, or documentation demonstrating that one will be obtained within 90 days.
• Basic understanding of the industry or ability to eagerly learn.
• Previous experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Utilize web-based platforms, applications, time tracking systems, email software such as MS outlook, and utility specific work and service order applications.
• CPR & First Aid Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist line crews with basic tasks related to electric distribution and maintenance
• Participate in safety training, tailboard meetings, and job briefings
• Learn proper use and care of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with material handling, equipment staging, and worksite preparation
