Day to day as a Electrical Journeyman As a new Electrical Journeyman at Cannon Construction, your daily expectations will revolve around delivering quality work while prioritizing safety in this Safety Sensitive Role. You’ll start your day by reviewing project blueprints and plans, ensuring a thorough understanding of the tasks at hand. Collaborating with your team, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in both government contract work and private work settings. You will be responsible for adhering to safety standards on-site, particularly when accessing Military bases . Regular inspections of electrical components will be a crucial part of your routine to ensure compliance with local codes. Additionally, you will document your work accurately, maintaining records for prevailing wage requirements. Your hands-on experience will grow as you tackle various projects, all while fostering a spirit of teamwork and professionalism within the organization. Requirements

5-7 years of electrical experience is essential
valid Electrical 01 License, including current continuing education units (CEUs)
ability to operate various tools and software relevant to the electrical trade
Strong communication skills
adaptability and readiness for long hours will be key
valid driver’s license
3 years' experience as a Journeyman
Must be willing to travel out of town
Must be willing to work long hours
Must have good communication skills
Must have valid driver's license and be able to get on Military Base
