CDS Logistics and Home Services is hiring a full time Electrician to join our Electrical Business, which focuses on installation and preventative maintenance of in-home automated standby generators throughout the state of Maryland. CDS will provide this employee with a company vehicle, company cell phone, gas card and hands-on training. In addition to installing generators, you can anticipate performing residential electric work and serving our customers as an expert in your field. Successful applicant will be able to: Perform quality work within deadlines. Interact and communicate professionally with internal and external customer groups. Prioritize daily tasks in consideration of Organizational Strategic Goals. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating efforts with your stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Electrical Journeyman's License for the state of MD.
• Must have a strong understanding of electrical concepts.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License (company vehicle will be provided)

Responsibilities

• Installation of automated standby generators.
• Preform preventative maintenance for automated standby generators.
• Complete Residential Electrical work
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with office administrators to confirm daily schedule, communicate daily progress and challenges and complete paperwork daily.
