Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
  • A minimum of 2-5 year's experience, or the equivalent, in Electrical Maintenance Supervision.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Successful completion of drug screen required and authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Pulp & Paper industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the planning, organizing, and completion of mill electrical maintenance within the area of assigned responsibility.
  • Managing a group of hourly union journeyman electricians on a daily basis.
  • Defining and participating in the development of electrical daily and preventative maintenance programs to improve the reliability of electrical machinery in the mill.
  • Providing technical direction, assistance, and solutions to maintenance and operating personnel.
  • Working with key mechanical, reliability maintenance and engineering personnel to support daily, monthly scheduled maintenance outages and annual outage jobs within the field of electrical maintenance and engineering.
  • Delivering complete programs for all types of equipment, including crossover activities to the mechanical maintenance programs.
  • Completing maintenance and capital projects and programs, including necessary training, stocking of spare parts, preventive maintenance checklists, drawing creation, and updates.
  • Supporting the Mills goals for safety, environmental, and other areas of need.
  • Focusing on electrical supervision of hourly workforce and electrical equipment reliability.
  • Managing equipment tracking and rebuild programs.
  • Utilizing predictive & preventative maintenance programs to identify and correct equipment issues.
  • Inputting and updating equipment information and documentation.
  • Developing equipment manuals for precision inspection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Managing area equipment PM and maintenance programs.
  • Managing assigned work for monthly and annual outages.
  • Assisting with MS Project timelines for monthly and annual outages.
  • Planning and executing capital projects for maintenance replacements of equipment.
  • Effectively managing jobs for the best result at the lowest cost.
  • Looking for opportunities to solve issues, reduce costs, and improve planning performance.
  • Solving problems utilizing the mill's RCFA program.
  • Effectively managing contractors for performing jobs.
  • Performing other responsibilities as needed.
