The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician/Journeyman performs skilled electrical and instrumentation maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment in our Rhinelander, WI plant.
Requirements
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must hold a valid journeyman card, indicating successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program; OR Associates Degree in one or more of the following: Electromechanical Electrical Engineering Technology Electrical System Maintenance
- 5 years of relevant experience in pulp and paper industry preferred
- Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Respond to emergency call-ins (in accordance with the labor contract)
- Proven ability to work safely

- 5 years of relevant experience in pulp and paper industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures, and policies, as applicable to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
