About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training in various technical subjects, including but not limited to electrical. This role requires a passion for teaching and the ability to engage students effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. This is a part time position, evening hours, Monday thru Thursday 5:30pm to 11:30pm.

Requirements

• 3 years experience as an electrician.
• Preferred experience in Industrial/Commercial/Maintenance applications.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and code book.
• Have strong organizational skills and a genuine sensitivity to the needs of students.
• Knowledgeable of the course content and proficient in all skills taught within the program.
• Competent, as evidenced by satisfactory performance of skills, of all competencies taught in curriculum.
• Preparation in educational theory and techniques preferred. This can include formal education, continuing education and/or in-service education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Have a professional attitude and manner that reflects the high standards of MTI and the program you represent.
