About The Position

Leitner-Poma is seeking skilled level II & III Electrical Installation Technicians to join our team and play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge ropeway transportation systems. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Your role as an Electrical Installation Technician will take you across all of North America, installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects. You’ll showcase your technical skills through hands-on work in EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with an experienced team that values innovation, precision, safety, and excellence. Higher level Technicians will be at the forefront of developing innovative processes & procedures for their teams, as well as providing mentorship & guidance. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at the following rates, based on relevant experience & certifications: Level II Technicians are offered between $26.00-$34.00 per hour . Level III Technicians are offered between $31.25-$36.54 per hour . Requirements

  • ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN II BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience with industrial controls.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN III BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Current Master Electrician Certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience with industrial controls.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman Electrician certification.
  • 2-3 years’ experience with industrial controls.
  • Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
  • Experience installing self-supporting cable systems.
  • Basic rigging experience.
  • Master’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
  • At least 3 years of experience with industrial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects.
