About The Position

Leitner-Poma is seeking a skilled level III Electrical Installation Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge ropeway transportation systems. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Your role as an Electrical Installation Technician will take you across all of North America, installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects. You’ll showcase your technical skills through hands-on work in EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with an experienced team that values innovation, precision, safety, and excellence. Higher level Technicians will be at the forefront of developing innovative processes & procedures for their teams, as well as providing mentorship & guidance. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring between $31.25-$36.54 per hour, based on relevant experience & certifications. Requirements

  • Journeyperson Electrician Certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
  • 5 or more years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
  • Master Electrician Certification.
