Requirements

High school diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in the construction or electrical trades
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record
Ability to travel up to 75% as needed, including air and overnight travel
This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in Texas, Oklahoma
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Ability to work independently to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to adhere to site PPE requirements and work safely on an active construction site
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be responsive and provide good customer communication and service
Must have access to the internet
Ability to lift/carry at least 40 pounds; climb at least 30 feet; work with various levels of noise; stand for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs and ladders

Nice To Haves

Experience as an Installer, Technician, Electrician, Contractor or Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities

Perform inspections of electrical systems on systems as required by applicable NFPA and UL standards.
Complete reports summarizing the inspection work completed onsite.
Make judgments regarding compliance in terms of applicable standards.
Communicate and coordinate with clients while planning visits to work locations.
Perform other work as required.
