Requirements

  • A proactive and eager learner, regardless of your current level of experience in electrical estimating.
  • Estimating software (Accubid/Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office.
  • Industrial Electrical experience - REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for electrical
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize Accubid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Analyze project scopes and develop comprehensive material and labor estimates.
  • Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Present cost estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensuring all estimates are completed on time and in line with client expectations and company standards.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Proficiency in using Accubid and Bluebeam or other estimating software.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
