About The Position

Installs all electrical / data com rough in and rough wire required in each unit during regular operation schedule. Assemble electrical / data com. sub. Parts required for each unit. The employee holding this position must perform the job in a timely and correct manner

Requirements

Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to carry out not only simple but complex oral and written instructions and deal with problems from standardized situations and work experience.
Ability to communicate well with supervisors, lead-man, and other co-workers.
Ability to read blue prints and or drawings.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and/or moving of 5 pounds and over, with frequent lifting and/or carrying.
Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
Prior electrical experience is required.
Applicants will be required to take and pass a drug test prior to employment.
Inconsistent information, of any kind, necessary to complete the hiring process will be ground for dismissal.
Electrical helper must observe and comply with all Safety policy and procedures.
Demonstrates safe, productive job performance.
Meets the company standards.
Must climb and work at heights over 5 feet.
Must climb ladders
Must push and pull heavy or bulky equipment while performing job duties.
Must walk around the department and plant area to perform daily work.
May work night shift and extended hours to meet work demands.
Requires high degree of concentration.
May work continuously several hours without a break.
May work in small areas and/or confined spaces.
Must stand on hard surfaces to perform work task.
Must perform electrical work in awkward positions-vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
May work quickly and have pressure of deadlines and production demands.
Must stay focused on the work at hand while performing safely.
Extending hands and arms in all directions, holding, grasping, pressing, turning objects using hands, picking, lifting, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers.

Dc and or data. Com experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Layout and install all electrical components
Preassembly sub parts as required by job orders
Ability to operate power tools (drills, chop saw. Band saw, and screw guns) safely and effectively.
Replace or assist other workers as need
Perform other task assigned by supervisor
