The electrical helper will work on a variety of constructions jobs. This position will work within a team and may be required to travel out of town. In this position the electrical helper will be eligible to attend our in-house training programs to advance their current understanding of the construction and/or electrical industry. Job Duties: Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry. Install conduits, pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, tank monitors and petroleum lighting. Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Verify proper operation of the electrical system. Advise management, customers and employees when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate. Assist estimator with material take-off, material cost and labor allowances.
