About The Position

The Electrical Helper Instructor position at Shelton State Community College involves providing instruction in electrical work and overseeing the progress of students in specialized training programs. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work.
• High school diploma or GED for Training programs; Associate's degree for REALSKILL Coach.
• Training certifications in areas such as OSHA, NCCER, Microsoft, or truck driving may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching college orientation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent instruction in electrical work and related areas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of courses addressing industry needs.
• Oversee the progress of up to twenty-five students in the REALSKILL Institute.
• Communicate and monitor student progress through SkillsUSA Advanced Experiences.
• Grade assignments and report to the REALSKILL Capstone Coordinator.
