We are seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join the Electrical Harness Engineering team in the summer of 2026 which is responsible for the electro-mechanical design, packaging, and engineering oversight of avionic/electrical equipment and wiring in the air vehicle. Electrical Design work products include general arrangement drawings, equipment assembly design, equipment installation design, wiring installation design, and wire harness and molded harness design. The candidate will actively participate in the design of products, change management, support of manufacturing, support of production, and continuous improvement activities. We drive organizational excellence by actively participating in: Creating efficient and repeatable processes Identifying opportunities through data/metrics Incorporating best practices and lessons learned Leveraging opportunities to develop our resources

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a B.S. Degree program such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience with Business Software Tools (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Some experience with Engineering Software Tools (3D/2D CAD)
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Highly competitive and motivated to take ownership of commitments and meet objectives.
  • Capable of managing complex tasks and drive them to successful outcomes.
  • Able to work on-site in Stratford, CT.
  • U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to create designs including dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Experience with CATIA V5/V6/3DX.
  • Ability to create Macros, VB, C++, or other programs to streamline complex engineering tasks.
