  • Champion a culture of electrical manufacturing innovation by embracing change and expanding in-house solutions to boost efficiency, adaptability and scalability.
  • Directly lead teams in designing and deploying integrated systems for advanced vehicle and manufacturing technologies, overseeing key milestones from development through validation and post-installation support.
  • Align cross-functional teams on key project milestones - reviews, buy-offs, shipping, installation, and validation to ensure timely equipment integration.
  • Assess mechanical, electrical, and software testing needs for new vehicle programs, and develop supporting timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate across global teams and time zones with flexibility and strong communication
  • Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 plus years' experience
  • Solid understanding of GM Manufacturing systems, tooling, and electrical integration within the assembly process
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build high-performing teams, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor others, and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Familiarity with the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP)
  • Agile mindset with a forward-thinking approach and willingness to take calculated risks
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and automation — robotics, vision, controls
  • Experience in plant operations or launch assignments
  • Electrical, Software Architecture and Program Team Experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems with a focus on design-for-manufacturing and automation strategy.
