Overview We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to support a critical production ramp-up for advanced RF counter-drone systems. This role will focus on hands-on production support, assembly verification, and ensuring quality output during high-volume manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of hardware engineering experience in production or manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in hand soldering (through-hole and SMT components)
  • Experience with RF systems, power electronics, or defense electronics preferred
  • Familiarity with test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent soldering credentials
  • Experience with multi-channel RF systems
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles
  • Familiarity with military/aerospace manufacturing standards
  • Experience supporting production of battery-powered portable systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site engineering support during production ramp-up of RF-based electronic warfare systems
  • Perform hands-on soldering and rework of PCBAs and electronic assemblies
  • Verify proper assembly of multi-band RF transmission systems and power electronics
  • Troubleshoot assembly-level issues and implement corrective actions on the production floor
  • Collaborate with manufacturing technicians to optimize build processes
  • Conduct functional testing and validation of assembled units
  • Document production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support integration of sensor subsystems and RF components
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards and manufacturing best practices
