We are seeking a motivated Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer III with experience in electronic hardware design and test. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PCB design using Altium Designer, strong understanding of digital logic circuits, and hands-on experience with common electronics test and measurement equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team on advanced electronic systems.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic design and testing.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer (schematic capture and PCB layout).
  • Strong understanding of digital logic, signal integrity, and circuit fundamentals.
  • Proficient with standard lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.).
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with embedded firmware development.
  • Familiarity with VHDL and Xilinx FPGA design tools.
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain schematic and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
  • Design, analyze, and troubleshoot digital and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.
  • Support prototype builds, test documentation, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Participate in product testing, verification, and continuous improvement activities.
