About The Position

The Mission Hardware team within the C4IA (Command, Control, Communications, Cyber Intelligence, and Autonomy) Engineering department is seeking a motivated, innovative, and collaborative Electrical Engineer II to support the design and development of cutting-edge Mission Computing products. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers while also taking ownership of smaller projects. You'll apply your expertise in electrical engineering to design, develop, and support both digital and analog hardware for advanced mission computing systems. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Prior experience with schematic capture

Nice To Haves

  • Python, C++, or MATLAB programming/scripting
  • Signal integrity and timing analysis tools
  • Understanding of Design to Cost (DTC+), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT)
  • Experience with requirements management and traceability tools

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing complex digital and analog circuit boards for embedded systems
  • Creating schematics and supporting PCB layout activities
  • Participating in hardware verification, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Collaborating across disciplines to support system integration and qualification
  • Generating clear, accurate technical documentation
  • Supporting proposal activities and contributing to cost and schedule estimates
  • Working in a structured, process-driven engineering environment
