We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead field operations on a large‑scale data center project. This individual will be responsible for coordinating crews, ensuring installation quality, and driving productivity and safety in a high‑performance mission critical environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of electrical systems, and prior experience working on data centers, large industrial facilities, or other complex electrical projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience; 2+ years in a leadership or general foreman role.
  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of basic computer skills (ex. folder structure, emails & attachments, keyboard shortcuts)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Proficient with Bluebeam
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and data center‑specific electrical systems.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple crews in a fast‑paced, high‑security environment.
  • Proven ability to plan work, manage schedules, and maintain productivity.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing site conditions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid state of Utah electrical journeyman license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medium‑voltage distribution, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution units (PDUs) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor journeymen electricians and apprentices on-site.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, manpower planning, and material needs to support project schedule.
  • Oversee installation of electrical distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, grounding, cable tray, and other mission‑critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure all work meets NEC codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with project management, engineering, and other trades to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with all company and site safety protocols.
  • Track progress, document work, and provide accurate daily and weekly reports.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one‑line diagrams, specifications, and submittals.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
  • Must demonstrate commitment to company values.
