About The Position

We are looking for Electrical Foreman. This is a supervisory position involved in the repair, fabrication, modification and installation of electrical systems. Typical Duties Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craftsmen Select appropriate tools and materials for installation Interpret specifications, blue prints and work orders Install or direct the installation of material and equipment in buildings or work sites Interpret and enforce company policies to include safety regulations Adjust work to meet construction schedules Maintain time records Supervise and coordinate sub-contractor activities Work with other craft superintendents and project managers to accomplish projects

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Construction Foreman experience
  • Journeyman card in electrical field or an electrical license
  • Able to operate a backhoe
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, plumbing and structural drawings
  • Able to lay out parking lot lighting and install pole bases
  • Ability to think critically and resolve problems
  • Can communicate and give written instruction in a professional manner
  • Comfortable with MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)
  • Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately
  • Must be high school graduate or hold G.E.D.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
