Contract - Electrician Lead You will work at a Nuclear Plant Project onsite in Surry, Virginia. You will report to the Site Manager and Electrical Oversight Supervisor. You will work 40-50 hours per week for 11-12 months. Permanent US Resident or US Citizenship required. You will work as an Electrician with Lead responsibilities. You will report back to the Management team of any potential problems, working interference, and any schedule deficiencies. You will assist in resolving any issues. Lead Electricians to complete the project meeting milestones set for the project. Adhere to all safety requirements, stop work and report any safety issues immediately should they arise. Electrician with 3 years Lead Experience Experience in new construction and maintenance modifications Installation/ fabrication of Conduit and Supports Installation of copper and fiber cables Cable terminations and modifications Installation of power and control panels/ switch gear Use a multi meter to include Live-Dead-Live Raychem splicing of low voltage Electrical safe work practices Clearance order verifications Temporary power installation Experience in nuclear power as JM electrician Will read, write, speak and take tests in English without an interpreter or accommodations per US nuclear requirement. Must have a Journey OR NCCER Industrial electrician certification OR equivalent experience, such as nuclear plant qualification Must have High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age. Will pass an on-site industrial electrician proficiency test
