About The Position

We have a project starting in April in Winston-Salem, NC. About Knight Electric: Knight Electric is a national electrical contractor focusing on Commercial/Retail construction (Target, Costco, Bass Pro Shop, HEB, Walmart, etc.). You will have overall insight into key metrics across projects, you will execute productivity analysis, collaborate with client field teams and so much more. Location: We have a 4-month project in Winston-Salem, NC. We are open to candidates that want to just complete this 4-month project Winston-Salem, NC or open to candidates that want to travel and continue with our team after you complete this project. We pay for all travel to include housing (Airbnb, fuel and per diem, etc.) if you choose to travel.

Requirements

At least six (6) years' experience in the electrical industry, commercial retail preferred.
Possess an active State Electrical license is preferred
Current OSHA 10 certificate
Must have ability to run medium-size projects (4-10 electricians)
Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Responsible for execution of electrical scopes across a project, including planning and layout of installations and direction/oversight of all electrical personnel
Manpower forecasting and productivity planning for assigned scopes of work
Coordinates work with client representatives and communicates needs to KEI Project Manager to ensure all required materials, tools, safety apparatus, and information packages are in place ahead of scheduled installations
Conducts jobsite safety meetings and ensures compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies/guidelines
Compiles and submits project reporting documents, including daily logs, timesheets, manpower forecasts, testing logs, and project closeout documents
Ensures compliance with all company guidelines, policies, and quality standards
Consistently completes projects on schedule and within budget
